I’ve been working on this room for a couple of weeks. It’s an ongoing project but is pretty much finished. It’s longer but not as deep as my other rooms because it had to fit on top of my dresser. I spent a good deal of time refinishing my Laurel Crown chairs. They had a dark stain on them which I wasn’t that fond of so I re-finished them shabby chic style.I had already created a bench/couch for my girls in this style so now they all match nicely. I went on a shabby chic rampage, the chairs, some picture frames , a window frame (still looking for pictures to use as views) . I had been admiring the fabric I used for the wall paper for some time. It was the right scale for the room. All in all it will be a great display room and photo room for my dolls.
Tessa enjoying her new space. I must warn her it’s about to get very crowded
Your work – whether the dolls or their rooms – is always exquisite!
Everything is amazing. The detail down to the baseboards and candle sconces fab!!
And, where did you get the beautiful chest, Dale?
I bought it at a furniture store specializing in shabby chic decor. It is perfect for the room
I love what you’ve done with the chairs. They suit the room perfectly, Dale. Of course making the settee from found items was amazing. Jill
